Chelmsford Council Publishes SLAA Maps

slaamapChelmsford City Council has now published the maps for the sites being considered for development in the period up to 2036.

I have been told by Chelmsford’s planning dept that there is no significance in the different colouring of sites (red, green, blue), and that the colouring was just to more easily differentiate between the sites.

It is important to stress that these sites are under consideration of suitability for development only; as it says on the CCC site “Please note that the submission of a site does not mean that the site will be allocated for development in the Local Plan.”

The report containing the full assessment of all sites should be published and considered at the next Development Policy Committee meeting (September 2nd).
